NetSuite Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement customizations for NetSuite utilizing SuiteScript 2.x.

• Establish and maintain integrations between NetSuite and various e-commerce platforms, EDI providers, 3PLs, and other third-party systems.

• Automate order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and financial-close processes through SuiteFlow and custom scripts.

• Collaborate with finance, operations, supply chain, and sales teams to gather requirements and formulate technical designs.

• Create custom records, fields, forms, saved searches, and advanced PDF/HTML templates.

• Oversee development processes using SDF, version control, sandbox testing, and production deployment.

• Diagnose script errors, performance issues, and integration failures.

• Review NetSuite releases and update customizations accordingly.

• Document technical designs, scripts, and integrations comprehensively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English.

• Must be located in Latin America.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in writing and maintaining SuiteScript 2.x, including User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, and RESTlet scripts.

• Strong understanding of governance limits and the capability to write efficient, well-documented code while refactoring legacy 1.0 scripts.

• Proven experience in designing and supporting NetSuite integrations with external systems using SuiteTalk SOAP/REST web services, RESTlets, and middleware such as Celigo, Boomi, or Workato.

• Ability to troubleshoot failed synchronizations, manage error handling, and ensure data consistency across platforms.

• Working knowledge of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and record-to-report processes, including revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and multi-subsidiary OneWorld environments.

• Practical experience with custom records, fields, forms, SuiteFlow workflows, saved searches, reports, SuiteAnalytics/SuiteQL queries, Advanced PDF/HTML templates, roles and permissions, and SDF.

• Experience in planning and executing CSV imports and data migrations, cleaning and validating data, promoting changes from sandbox to production, and documenting work.
