This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Prepare and post journal entries while overseeing AP/AR workflows.
• Conduct daily cash and monthly bank reconciliations and manage allocations.
• Ensure the accuracy of accounting data and support compliance with controls.
• Carry out reconciliations, accruals, variance checks, schedules, close documentation, and month-end closures.
• Guarantee timely closure across subsidiaries and segments, actively resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and adhere to approval processes.
• Oversee the chart of accounts, accounting segments, subsidiary structure, and associated master data.
• Uphold data standards while documenting account mappings and classifications.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager on updates and enhancements.
• Create and manage NetSuite saved searches, financial reports, dashboards, and recurring analyses.
• Provide timely insights to accounting and operational stakeholders.
• Promote report adoption and maintain consistency with internal reporting standards.
• Assist with Paylocity, billing, and bank-feed integrations.
• Review and reconcile data imported from integrations.
• Troubleshoot NetSuite errors, support end users, and document recurring issues.
• Elevate complex technical or accounting issues with thorough context.
• A minimum of 2 years in staff accounting or general ledger roles, encompassing journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, allocations, and month-end closing.
• Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite, including saved searches, reports, dashboards, and user support/troubleshooting, is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the chart of accounts, subsidiary accounting, accounting segments, and financial master data.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets for reconciliations and analyses.
• Experience in Oracle NetSuite administration at the user/power-user level.
• Capability to build saved searches, reports, and dashboards.
• Familiarity with AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations, accruals, allocations, and data validation.
• Knowledge of Paylocity, billing systems, and bank feeds.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including lookups, pivots, and reconciliations.
• A computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor or better.
• Internet speed of at least 40MBPS.
• A headset with an extended noise-canceling microphone and a webcam.
• A backup computer and internet connection.
• A quiet, dedicated workspace at home.
• A reliable internet connection.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
• Must provide your own computer with an Intel Core i5 or comparable processor or higher.
