NDT Specialist – Film Interpret

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform tests to verify quality or detect discontinuities utilizing NDT inspection methodologies.

• Develop examination techniques while complying with safety regulations.

• Implement testing criteria based on relevant specifications or standards and assess the outcomes.

• Identify, monitor, manage, and mitigate risks during client engagements; escalate issues as needed.

• Analyze asset documentation and operational data, which includes inspection data, monitoring, and auditing of NDE activities.

• Conduct integrity assessments, including physical site evaluations when necessary.

• Create project reports detailing the work executed, findings, and recommendations.

• Carry out specialized inspections.

• Formulate techniques for approval by customer certifying agents.

• Train and oversee others when required.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

• Collaborate with clients on scheduling and problem resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.

• Some college education is preferred.

• Technical expertise in NDT (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) and procedures with five years of experience.

• Current NDT certifications in (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) are mandatory.

• Experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.

• Proven ability to effectively execute assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.

• Familiarity with NDT equipment.

• Comprehensive understanding of ASME and API standards and procedures related to the evaluation of applicable equipment for ongoing serviceability.

• Awareness of industry health and safety regulations and protocols.

• Capability to engage with clients regarding scheduling and problem-solving.

• Proficiency in using relevant software and computer-related tools.

• Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 pounds.

• Travel may be necessary.
