Native Spanish AI Data Annotator – AI Scam Detection

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review SMS and email messages in spreadsheets and categorize each message as per established annotation guidelines.

• Apply labels reliably and consistently while upholding high quality standards.

• Process around 2,500 messages daily, achieving both productivity and quality objectives.

• Identify ambiguous or edge-case instances and escalate them when necessary.

• Engage in regular team calibration sessions and peer reviews, dedicating approximately 10% of working time, to ensure consistent annotation throughout the project.

• Adhere to project documentation, workflows, and data handling procedures at all times.

• Communicate proactively with the project team regarding inquiries, concerns, or clarifications about guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Spanish (both spoken and written).

• Excellent command of the English language.

• Ability to work within EMEA or USA time zones.

• Outstanding reading comprehension and understanding of colloquial language, slang, abbreviations, and regional expressions.

• Strong attention to detail with the capability to make accurate and consistent decisions based on detailed guidelines.

• Comfort in handling large volumes of repetitive data while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Ability to manage deadlines and meet daily productivity targets.

• Comfort in reviewing content that may contain scam attempts, offensive language, profanity, or other sensitive material.

• Experience using spreadsheet applications.

• Previous experience in data annotation, content moderation, data labeling, quality assurance, or linguistic projects is advantageous.

• Experience working with AI or machine learning data annotation projects is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to recognize patterns and identify inconsistencies in data.

• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate in an international remote team.

• Ability to work independently while adhering to detailed instructions.

• Reliable internet connection and access to a computer suitable for remote work.
