This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive new business sales for Duck Creek’s Loss Control, Reinsurance, and Distribution Management solutions within designated territories or sectors.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet or surpass sales goals.
• Identify, qualify, and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities throughout all phases of the sales cycle.
• Act as a subject matter expert on specialty insurance markets and Duck Creek’s unique value proposition.
• Collaborate with marketing to customize messaging and campaigns for specialty segments.
• Partner with product management to provide market insights and influence roadmap priorities.
• Lead RFP responses, solution presentations, and contract negotiations with potential clients.
• Maintain precise and timely sales forecasts and CRM data.
• Represent Duck Creek at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Collaborate closely with implementation and customer success teams to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction.
• Engage with integration and solution partners to jointly develop go-to-market strategies and drive collaborative growth initiatives.
• Monitor competitive activities and market trends to guide sales strategy and positioning.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the insurance sector.
• Experience selling to Insurance T1 - 5 Carriers, MGAs, and Brokers.
• Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms.
• Familiarity with Duck Creek’s product suite or similar insurance core systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of specialty insurance market dynamics and buyer personas.
• Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value agreements.
• Strong consultative selling and solution positioning capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships.
• Collaborative approach with a team-oriented mindset.
