
National Specialty Sales Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive new business sales for Loss Control, Reinsurance, and Distribution Management solutions across designated territories or sectors.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Identify, qualify, and manage a strong pipeline through all phases of the sales cycle.
• Act as a subject matter expert on specialty insurance markets and Duck Creek’s value proposition.
• Collaborate with marketing to customize messaging and campaigns for specialty segments.
• Partner with product management to provide market insights and influence roadmap priorities.
• Lead responses to RFPs, solution presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts and CRM data.
• Represent Duck Creek at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with implementation and customer success teams to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction.
• Engage with integration and solution partners on go-to-market strategies and joint growth initiatives.
• Monitor competitive activities and market trends to inform sales strategy and positioning.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on the insurance sector.
• Experience selling to Insurance T1 - 5 Carriers, MGAs, and Brokers.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms.
• Familiarity with Duck Creek’s product suite or comparable insurance core systems.
• In-depth understanding of specialty insurance market dynamics and buyer personas.
• Proven capability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.
• Strong consultative selling and solution positioning abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data and trends.
• Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
• Willingness to travel as necessary (up to 50%).
