This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide precise and dependable quarterly and annual sales forecasts utilizing Salesforce, pipeline analytics, and insights from the field.
• Uphold forecasting methodologies, validate pipeline assumptions, and mitigate risks to business performance.
• Facilitate timely updates in Salesforce while ensuring accurate pipeline management and reporting.
• Guarantee transparency in performance against quotas and foster accountability within the team.
• Engage in-person in the field through ride-alongs and customer visits.
• Implement Össur’s sales methodology and offer coaching alongside immediate feedback.
• Formulate and execute commercial strategies aimed at long-term business growth.
• Identify fresh market opportunities to expand the Neuro Orthotics business.
• Lead and influence cross-functional collaboration with key business partners.
• Deliver strategic market insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure that regional and national sales objectives are met or surpassed.
• Recruit, train, and mentor the Sales team to effectively represent Össur products and services.
• Develop and implement sales program plans, account management policies, quotas, territories, compensation and incentive programs, and performance evaluations.
• Provide professional leadership and coaching to enhance the performance of the regional team.
• Leverage the Neuro Orthotic educational team to boost clinical knowledge among customers and sales staff.
• Collaborate with Customer Services to optimize sales opportunities.
• Maintain and utilize industry, technical, and competitive knowledge to address objections and execute strategies.
• Analyze territory and customer records to organize and prioritize activities and goals for Americas Prosthetics.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies that drive sales while ensuring profitability.
• Contribute to corporate strategic objectives.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
• Over 10 years of sales management experience.
• At least seven years of related sales experience in life science or medical device products.
• Proven track record in training and motivating outside sales professionals.
• Outstanding organizational, analytical, presentation, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the orthotic and prosthetic market and distribution channel development is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in previous roles regarding task management, decision making, and overall management skills.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Frequent daily travel to client sites within the territory, with occasional overnight travel required to service customers and expand the territory.
