
National Retail Sales Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the daily management of multiple significant national retail accounts.
• Establish and nurture relationships with retailer buyers, planners, merchants, operations teams, and other essential partners.
• Take ownership of weekly business reporting encompassing sales, sell-through, inventory, forecasts, returns, promotions, and other vital account metrics.
• Examine retailer sales and inventory patterns, pinpoint root causes, and propose actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers to enhance forecasts, plan promotional boosts, identify additional opportunities, and highlight potential risks.
• Foster internal cross-functional relationships with operations, finance, supply chain, and marketing teams.
• Achieve proficiency in retailer portals, reporting tools, item setup processes, forecasting systems, and operational requirements.
• Oversee new item setup, retailer documentation, packaging requirements, and launch initiatives.
• Manage project timelines for retail displays, third-party vendors, creative approvals, shipments, and retailer deadlines.
• Address issues and ensure that projects progress smoothly across Skylight.
• Communicate risks, inquiries, and obstacles promptly and clearly.
• 2-4 years of experience in supporting national retail, consumer products, retail operations, sales analytics, account management, or a related field.
• Preferably experienced in supporting large national retailers.
• Strongly preferred experience with retailer portals, forecasting, item setup, inventory management, or point-of-sale reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with the capability to convert sales, inventory, and operational data into practical recommendations.
• Demonstrated ownership and initiative.
• Resourceful and adept at navigating unfamiliar processes and systems.
• Persistent problem-solving skills.
• Quick learning ability and adaptability to grasp new tools, retailers, processes, and business models.
• Strong and clear communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple deadlines and stakeholders concurrently.
