This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement strategies for organization-wide programs that support service line or business sector offerings.
• Execute strategic initiatives, converting strategic direction into actionable steps, and ensure tactical execution.
• Develop the pursuit pipeline by identifying opportunities, assessing potential clients and services, and preparing targeted pursuits for leadership evaluation.
• Evaluate the geographic suitability of opportunities to support sector and service line growth strategies.
• Collaborate with operations teams and specialized groups to propel strategic initiatives and growth in key focus areas.
• Provide leadership, track progress, and ensure accountability for the execution of strategies.
• Act as a liaison among service lines, sectors, operations, and client teams.
• Apply market or subject matter expertise to pursuits or projects and coordinate company-wide resources.
• Support new client acquisition and engage current clients to promote services.
• Contribute to key pursuit action items and ensure follow-through on deliverables.
• Assist sector leadership in enhancing subsector market focus areas.
• Translate the Terracon Strategic Plan and prioritized initiatives into tactical work plans.
• Communicate and reinforce safety initiatives, rules, and guidelines; ensure managers and employees are held accountable for compliance.
• Promote and oversee continuous quality improvement and quality-control standards.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Bachelor’s degree in a field practiced by the Firm, such as Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology, along with 9 years of related experience, or a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong background in environmental or engineering consulting and client development, with specific expertise in an area of environmental or engineering practice.
• Experience in client engagement, proposal writing, and commercial agreements.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.
• Ability to achieve Authorized Project Reviewer status by Terracon is preferred.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) designation is preferred but not mandatory.
