This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the national patient engagement strategy for ATTR and SCD.

• Lead a national field team comprising eight Community Navigators, which includes seven direct reports and one secondment floater.

• Collaborate with community-based advocacy and patient groups regarding Pfizer programs, resources, and services.

• Create and manage an integrated operating model that encompasses dual therapeutic areas.

• Work alongside brand and marketing leadership teams to guide brand and customer strategies.

• Define, implement, and oversee unified KPIs; provide performance reports to senior Patient Solutions and Commercial leadership.

• Advocate for health equity within the engagement strategy.

• Oversee hiring, onboarding, coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.

• Deploy the floater Community Navigator across various territories and therapeutic areas.

• Collaborate with training teams to create therapeutic-area-specific training programs.

• Conduct field ride-alongs in Community Navigator territories.

• Manage budgets related to patient programs and Community Navigator operations.

• Handle customer-facing components and external funding requests in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

• Supervise the implementation of above-brand Community Navigator resources.

• Coordinate local patient programs and present patient-resource overviews at Pfizer-sponsored events.

• Build collaborations with advocacy groups, Patient Advocacy Groups, patient advocates, Community Partners, and other external stakeholders.

• Attend and represent Pfizer at industry conferences and congresses.

• Work in partnership with brand, regional, global, and local medical affairs, Planning & Innovation, Legal, and Compliance teams.

• Integrate patient and community insights into educational materials and patient support services.

• Monitor business trends and community perceptions, implementing processes to enhance performance and patient engagement.

• Ensure that patient engagement activities comply with Pfizer’s standards of conduct.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• 10+ years of experience in advocacy, pharmaceuticals, medical sales, or account management.

• Experience with ATTR and/or SCD is essential.

• Proven experience in leading field-based teams.

• Background in working with Community-Based Organizations and/or Patient Advocacy Groups.

• Familiarity with Health Systems and the ability to navigate cross-functional working relationships.

• Experience managing multiple products, brands, or therapeutic areas concurrently, including prioritization and resource allocation.

• Demonstrated understanding of the US healthcare system.

• In-depth knowledge of the US healthcare environment and payer/reimbursement landscape.

• Proven track record in developing, implementing, and executing strategies that enhance business performance and yield measurable KPI outcomes.

• Strong strategic, analytical, and business acumen skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines across concurrent workstreams.

• Excellent strategic thinking and practical recommendation skills.

• Competence in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• History of leading initiatives that meet or surpass organizational performance goals.

• Ability to provide direction, coach, and engage team members during periods of change and organizational growth.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. from any employer.

• This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

• Preferred qualifications: MBA or an advanced degree.

• Preferred qualifications: supervisory/people management experience leading teams through significant change, expansion, or restructuring.

• Preferred qualifications: experience managing large field-based teams (approximately 5+ direct reports).

• Preferred qualifications: understanding of Cardiac Rare Disease/ATTR and/or Hematology/Sickle Cell Disease.

• Preferred qualifications: experience engaging underserved patient communities and advancing health equity initiatives.

• Preferred qualifications: experience in defining KPIs and performance measurement frameworks for field-based teams.
