This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.
• Take charge of planning, executing, and finalizing multiple electronic security installations simultaneously.
• Foster accountability throughout project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
• Act as the main liaison for national account stakeholders and General Contractors.
• Facilitate status meetings, technical discussions, and executive updates on progress.
• Supervise, assess, and ensure accountability for installation technicians, integration engineers, and subcontractors.
• Guarantee safety, technical compliance, and adherence to i2G standards.
• Oversee project budgets, labor and material costs, billing milestones, profit margins, change orders, and risk management.
• Analyze and validate architectural, electrical, civil, and security design packages.
• Manage as-built/red-line documentation and technical programming workflows.
• Identify project bottlenecks, handle RFIs, resolve site conflicts, and implement contingency strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales and System Engineering on scopes of work, technical feasibility, and proposal development.
• Travel to client locations for project kick-offs, quality assurance checks, commissioning, and finalization.
• Carry out additional duties as required and assigned based on business needs.
• 4–6 years of progressive project management experience in the commercial electronic security or low-voltage systems integration sector.
• Experience in overseeing access control systems (ACS), video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection (IDS), intercoms, and broader property technology infrastructure.
• Proven history of managing project finances, resource allocation, and multi-tier subcontractor teams.
• Proficient in project management and scheduling software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and SimPRO, as well as enterprise office suites.
• Capability to read and interpret detailed security, electrical, and structural drawings.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in managing client expectations at both site and corporate levels.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass mandatory background checks.
• Willingness and capability to travel 50%–75% of the time.
• Active certifications in enterprise security platforms such as Lenel OnGuard, Software House C•CURE, Axis, Verint, Commend, or DMP.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent formal project management credential.
• Familiarity with life safety/fire system integrations.
