This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.
• Take ownership of the planning, execution, and completion of multiple electronic security installations, ensuring accountability throughout all milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
• Act as the main point of contact for significant national account stakeholders and General Contractors, facilitating regular status updates, technical discussions, and executive progress reports.
• Supervise, assess, and ensure accountability among field installation technicians, integration engineers, and subcontractor partners to guarantee safety, technical compliance, and adherence to i2G standards.
• Oversee project budgets, track labor and material costs, manage billing milestones, and safeguard project profit margins through proactive change order and risk management strategies.
• Analyze and confirm complex architectural, electrical, civil, and security design packages; ensure accurate as-built/red-line documentation and oversee technical programming workflows.
• Identify project bottlenecks, manage Requests for Information (RFIs), address site conflicts, and implement contingency plans to avoid delays in schedule.
• Collaborate with Sales and System Engineering to review scopes of work, assess technical feasibility, and contribute to proposal development.
• Travel to client locations to lead project kick-offs, perform quality assurance audits, and carry out formal commissioning and closeout processes.
• Execute other duties as required and assigned to meet business needs.
• 4–6 years of progressive experience in project management within the commercial electronic security or low-voltage systems integration sector.
• Proven experience in managing access control systems (ACS), video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection systems (IDS), intercoms, and a broader property technology infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project finances, resource allocation, and multi-tier subcontractor teams effectively.
• Proficient in project management and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, SimPRO) as well as enterprise office suites.
• Strong ability to read and interpret detailed security, electrical, and structural blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in managing client expectations at both site and corporate levels.
• Valid driver’s license and the capability to pass necessary background checks.
• Willingness and ability to travel (50%–75%) to support project milestones, conduct quality inspections, and facilitate handoffs.
• Active certifications in enterprise security platforms (e.g., Lenel OnGuard, Software House C•CURE, Axis, Verint, Commend, DMP).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent formal project management credential.
• Familiarity with life safety/fire system integrations.
