This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.
• Take charge of the planning, execution, and completion of multiple electronic security installations, ensuring accountability for milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
• Act as the main point of contact for national account stakeholders and General Contractors, facilitating status reviews, technical discussions, and executive progress reports.
• Supervise, assess, and hold accountable field installation technicians, integration engineers, and subcontractor partners.
• Oversee project budgets, labor and material costs, billing milestones, project margins, change orders, and associated risks.
• Analyze and validate architectural, electrical, civil, and security design packages.
• Ensure accurate as-built/red-line documentation and oversee technical programming workflows.
• Identify obstacles, manage Requests for Information (RFIs), resolve site conflicts, and execute contingency plans.
• Collaborate with Sales and System Engineering on scopes of work, technical feasibility, and proposals.
• Travel to client locations for project kick-offs, quality assurance audits, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Perform additional duties as necessary and assigned based on business needs.
• 4-6 years of progressive project management experience in the commercial electronic security or low-voltage systems integration sector.
• Proven experience managing access control systems (ACS), video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection systems (IDS), intercoms, and broader property technology infrastructure.
• Demonstrated success in managing project financials, resource allocation, and multi-tier subcontractor teams.
• Proficient in project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, SimPRO) and enterprise office applications.
• Strong ability to read and interpret detailed security, electrical, and structural blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills with experience managing client expectations at both site and corporate levels.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to pass required background checks.
• Willingness and capability to travel (50%–75%) to support project milestones, quality inspections, and transitions.
• Active certifications from manufacturers or platforms in enterprise security systems (e.g., Lenel OnGuard, Software House C•CURE, Axis, Verint, Commend, DMP).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent formal project management credential.
• Familiarity with life safety/fire system integrations.
