
National Account Manager β IT Cooling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
β’ Design and implement sales and marketing strategies for the IT Cooling product line.
β’ Meet revenue, profitability, market share, and growth targets.
β’ Identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities and strategic accounts across the nation.
β’ Lead the development of proposals, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions until project award.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams to create competitive solutions for customers.
β’ Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
β’ Act as the primary customer contact, coordinating with sales, production, service, and support teams.
β’ Formulate account growth strategies to enhance product adoption, service opportunities, and long-term customer value.
β’ Collaborate with Marketing on customer engagement initiatives, including the Client Advisory Council.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with manufacturers' representatives, distributors, consultants, contractors, resellers, and channel partners.
β’ Assist in channel development initiatives and ensure successful product delivery and operation.
β’ Analyze market trends, customer requirements, competitive activities, and industry advancements.
β’ Suggest product improvements, service offerings, market strategies, and business processes to leadership.
β’ Keep up-to-date with technical knowledge of IT Cooling, HVAC, critical infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
β’ Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and opportunity pipelines.
β’ Monitor account performance and recommend necessary adjustments.
β’ Lead commercial negotiations and structure projects to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
β’ Oversee assigned cost centers and support financial decision-making efforts.
β’ Represent MEPPI at customer meetings, trade shows, conferences, seminars, and industry events.
β’ Promote MEPPI as a leading provider of critical cooling and infrastructure solutions.
β’ Assist with strategic initiatives and special projects as directed by leadership.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or a comparable combination of advanced education and experience.
β’ At least 5 years of technical sales experience in HVAC, IT cooling, mission-critical infrastructure, power quality products, or related services.
β’ Experience in managing manufacturers' representatives, distributors, resellers, or channel partners.
β’ Demonstrated success in developing and nurturing strategic customer relationships.
β’ Knowledgeable in HVAC, IT Cooling, critical power, power quality, or data center infrastructure solutions.
β’ Strong capabilities in business development, account management, and technical sales.
β’ Proven ability to influence executives, engineers, consultants, and operational stakeholders.
β’ Advanced experience in commercial negotiations and proposal development.
β’ Excellent analytical, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
β’ Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, such as Salesforce.
β’ Position requires residence west of Denver, Colorado.
β’ Must reside in the specified geography for this remote role.
