This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.
• Lead strategic growth initiatives by overseeing key national accounts.
• Meet sales and gross margin objectives.
• Discover new business opportunities to support acquisition and revenue goals.
• Primarily manage 3PL accounts.
• Engage in daily cold-calling outreach and customer prospecting via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
• Compile reports concerning business transactions, rate inquiries, and sales leads.
• Present detailed research and findings to highlight features and advantages.
• Travel up to 12 days monthly across designated territories in Canada and the Western United States.
• Focus on high-volume, high-revenue accounts to sustain and grow business while updating clients on new services and company developments.
• Negotiate significant contracts and prepare tender packages that include rate proposals, company details, equipment specifications, and financial information.
• Observe changes in the market among customers and competitors.
• Suggest enhancements in shipping, packaging, cost efficiency, time savings, revenue growth, and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee approximately $10–15 million in annual gross revenue across around 100–150 accounts.
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests.
• Collect customer data regarding density, packaging, volumes, and other relevant factors.
• Report directly to the Director of Business Development.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or a related industry.
• Strong preference for candidates with 3PL experience.
• Self-driven and results-oriented.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written and verbal), analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• High degree of cognitive and emotional intelligence.
• Proficient negotiation skills.
• Capability to develop a solid understanding of CCFS markets, contracts, pricing publications, and competitors.
• Ability to grasp the CCFS infrastructure and operational characteristics effectively.
• Proficient in understanding CCFS information and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with interline partner systems, their capabilities, and procedures.
• Knowledge of transportation industry trends, including CCFS pricing mechanisms and costing systems.
• Must reside in CA, AZ, NV, UT, CO, TX, MO, KS, WA, or OR.
