Multifamily Fee Compliance Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct product demonstrations for property management firms, owners, and REITs, ranging from regional entities to national portfolios

• Create analyses tailored to prospects based on live fee data prior to each meeting

• Collaborate with Account Executives on current opportunities, involving marketing, operations, revenue management, and legal stakeholders

• Respond to compliance inquiries and objections using approved messaging, coordinating with the client's legal team when necessary

• Assist Customer Success with renewals and expansions as clients explore new markets

• Keep abreast of federal, state, and local changes impacting rental fee advertising and leasing

• Convert new regulations into clear, concise specifications that inform product development

• Maintain a detailed reference of jurisdiction-specific requirements and their effective dates

• Create educational materials for Sales and Marketing, such as guides, one-pagers, and webinars, and represent ApartmentIQ at industry conferences

• Relay customer feedback and unmet needs to the product development team

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the multifamily sector with a property management company, owner-operator, or REIT

• Direct experience with apartment fees in roles related to legal, paralegal, compliance, marketing, ILS, or pricing

• Familiarity with fee disclosure practices, including mandatory, optional, and conditional fees

• Excellent research and analytical abilities

• Capacity to simplify complex requirements into clear written instructions

• Confident in presenting to executive-level audiences and addressing detailed inquiries

• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

• A paralegal certificate, JD, or compliance credential is a plus

• Experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or other customer-facing SaaS roles is advantageous

• Established connections within apartment industry associations are beneficial

• Experience supporting portfolios across multiple states is a plus
