This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and uphold the business, pharmacy, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, wholesale, and other healthcare-related licenses, registrations, and permits across various jurisdictions.
• Prepare, submit, monitor, and renew licenses, permits, and registrations.
• Ensure the accuracy of licensing records, databases, and documentation.
• Keep track of license expiration dates and guarantee timely renewals.
• Liaise with state boards of pharmacy, regulatory bodies, and third-party licensing vendors.
• Research licensing requirements for new jurisdictions, business locations, and services offered.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or compliance issues related to licensing.
• Generate reports and metrics concerning licensing status, renewals, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Analyze trends to identify potential compliance risks.
• Safeguard confidential information following company policies and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Operations, Human Resources, Credentialing, and Pharmacy leadership on licensing and compliance initiatives.
• Offer guidance to managers and employees on licensing requirements.
• Assist in onboarding activities that necessitate professional licensure verification.
• Aid in audits and inspections.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. accompanied by five (5) years of experience in a compliance-related role.
• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare licensing, pharmacy compliance, regulatory affairs, credentialing, or a similar compliance function.
• Familiarity with state licensing boards, regulatory agencies, or healthcare compliance systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and licensing requirements.
• Capability to interpret statutes, regulations, and regulatory guidance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent recordkeeping and document management skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across departments.
• Skilled at managing multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Availability outside of normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis.
