This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration and API solutions utilizing the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Ensure successful client engagements, technical delivery, and the creation of scalable, secure enterprise integrations.
• Collaborate effectively with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, business analysts, client stakeholders, and delivery team members.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain MuleSoft APIs and integrations.
• Implement API-led connectivity through Experience, Process, and System APIs.
• Create real-time, event-driven, scheduled, and batch integrations across cloud, SaaS, legacy, database, and on-premises systems.
• Develop reusable error handling, logging, shared components, and common MuleSoft connectors.
• Ensure API security and deploy MuleSoft applications across CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or on-premises environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide support for MuleSoft applications using Anypoint Monitoring, Runtime Manager, logs, and observability tools.
• Engage in technical design, code reviews, deployments, defect resolution, and production support.
• Travel to client sites and Guidehouse locations as required, up to 10%.
• A Bachelor's degree with at least four (4) years of experience in enterprise application integration, including hands-on MuleSoft development experience using Mule 4 and the Anypoint Platform; or ten (10) years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education or an advanced degree.
• US Citizenship is a contractual requirement.
• Must be willing to travel to client sites and Guidehouse locations as necessary.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting MuleSoft APIs and integrations.
• Strong proficiency with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.0, APIKit, Exchange, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
• Experience in implementing API-led connectivity using Experience, Process, and System APIs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of REST, SOAP, RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, XSD, and YAML.
• Experience in building real-time, event-driven, scheduled, and batch integrations across various systems including cloud, SaaS, legacy, database, and on-premises.
• Strong DataWeave skills and familiarity with reusable error handling, logging, shared components, and common MuleSoft connectors.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, asynchronous messaging, routing, transformation, and orchestration.
• Experience in implementing API security measures such as OAuth 2.0, Client ID Enforcement, JWT, SSL/TLS, mutual TLS, and certificates.
• Experience in deploying MuleSoft applications to CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or on-premises environments.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, CI/CD tools, and automated testing utilizing MUnit.
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting MuleSoft applications with tools like Anypoint Monitoring, Runtime Manager, logs, and observability tools.
• Understanding of API lifecycle management, governance, versioning, security, scalability, and integration best practices.
• Ability to engage in technical design, code reviews, deployments, defect resolution, and production support.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% may be necessary.
• Experience in a “Big 4” or similar established consulting firm and/or as a MuleSoft implementation partner is highly preferred.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 certification is preferred.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 2, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect certification is highly desired.
• Experience working with Federal Government, Department of Defense, or public-sector clients is preferred.
• Experience delivering solutions in environments that require federal security, compliance, and documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Hybrid-Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience with MuleSoft Runtime Fabric and container-based deployments.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, or other container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with Azure API Management, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Kong, or other API management platforms.
• Proven ability to integrate MuleSoft with Salesforce products, databases, legacy applications, SaaS platforms, third-party applications, and external web services.
• Experience with MuleSoft connectors, including HTTP, Database, File, SFTP, Salesforce, JMS, Web Service Consumer, and other enterprise connectors.
