Mortgage Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate residential mortgage loans by cultivating and sustaining relationships with real estate agents, builders, and various referral sources.

• Aid clients in choosing the most suitable mortgage product based on their financial circumstances and objectives.

• Navigate clients through the mortgage application process, which includes filling out loan applications and collecting essential documentation.

• Evaluate applicant financial profiles, creditworthiness, and property assessments to assess loan viability.

• Present loan alternatives and clarify terms and conditions to clients in a straightforward and comprehensible manner.

• Ensure all loans adhere to underwriting standards and comply with both state and federal regulations.

• Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and other stakeholders to guarantee prompt loan approvals and closings.

• Stay informed about market trends, loan offerings, and updates in mortgage regulations.

• Achieve set sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Loan Originator, or in a similar capacity.

• Valid NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) license required.

• Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS) and mortgage lending guidelines (e.g., FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans).

• Strong grasp of financial documentation and credit evaluation.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and sales abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently.

• High integrity and strong ethical principles.
