Modern Work Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance Microsoft Modern Work solutions within client environments.

• Administer and provide support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, and Intune.

• Configure and oversee Conditional Access, MFA, identity governance, device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint security solutions.

• Implement and support Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Security solutions.

• Utilize PowerShell for automation, reporting, configuration management, and operational efficiency.

• Support and maintain hybrid Microsoft environments that integrate Active Directory with Microsoft Entra ID.

• Configure and troubleshoot Entra Connect Sync.

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, and DNS.

• Provide support for Exchange Server 2019/Subscription Edition and hybrid Exchange deployments.

• Design and implement Cloud Kerberos Trust and modern authentication solutions.

• Lead or take part in Windows file share, personal drive, Exchange Server, identity, device, Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration projects.

• Offer advanced technical escalation support for complex Microsoft Modern Work technologies.

• Conduct root cause analysis and establish long-term remediation plans.

• Evaluate environments and suggest enhancements for security, governance, performance, and user experience.

• Mentor junior engineers and support teams.

• Create technical documentation, migration runbooks, standards, and implementation guides.

• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in supporting and implementing Microsoft Modern Work solutions.

• Strong background in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Intune, and Windows Autopilot (Cloud and Hybrid).

• Significant experience supporting hybrid Microsoft environments, including Exchange Server 2019/Subscription Edition, Windows Server platforms, Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, DNS (both Public and Private), and Entra Connect Sync.

• Proven experience in delivering Microsoft 365 migration and modernization projects.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations involving Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID identities, Intune configurations, and Entra-joined devices.

• Strong troubleshooting, solution design, and technical problem-solving capabilities.

• Practical experience with PowerShell for administration and automation purposes.

• Ability to independently lead technical workstreams and migration activities.

• Proficient English communication skills with the capacity to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in MSP, consulting, or professional services is preferred.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Security technologies is preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot implementation and readiness assessments is preferred.

• Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, SC-300, MD-102, or SC-100 are preferred.

• Experience managing enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments is preferred.

• Willingness to accept a long-term remote work arrangement.
