Mockup Design Team Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the advancement of e-commerce visual asset production within design operations

• Supervise three Design Team Leads and manage a total team of thirteen 3D designers

• Connect 3D asset development with the overarching growth strategy of the platform

• Streamline creative and technical workflows during the initial 12 months

• Promote the integration of practical AI and automation tools

• Enhance capacity to produce quicker, higher-converting visual assets that facilitate merchant success

• Recognize production bottlenecks and implement intelligent workflows along with simple automation solutions

• Convert user feedback and e-commerce trends into high-converting visual assets while minimizing reprint rates

• Assess user-friendly AI tools and assist designers in incorporating them into their daily tasks

• Manage resource distribution and capacity planning

• Analyze production metrics and synchronize visual outputs with merchant usage patterns

• Improve cross-functional collaboration channels to lower reprint rates and increase merchant conversion

• Mentor and coach three Design Team Leads in merchant-centric approaches, operational efficiency, team development, and leadership effectiveness

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading and nurturing technical, creative, or 3D design teams

• Direct involvement in a platform environment

• Familiarity with a SaaS business model

• Experience in the e-commerce industry

• Strong grasp of how creative and technical operations support the scaling of product ecosystems

• Willingness and enthusiasm to implement workflow automation tools

• Proven track record in streamlining operational processes to remove manual and repetitive tasks

• Passion for emerging AI technologies in design

• Practical knowledge of how everyday AI tools can improve team productivity

• Capability to utilize team capacity and operational metrics for scheduling and resource allocation decisions

• Ability to enhance output per FTE
