Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate, Fear Free–aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Offer in-home euthanasia and hospice services for geriatric and terminally ill pets.

• Assist and guide families through end-of-life decisions and processes.

• Foster relationships with local veterinary clinics as an extension of their care.

• Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation is maintained.

• Collaborate with medical leadership and support teams.

• Operate independently in the field with support from Veterinary Care Specialists and operational teams.

• Engage in ongoing training, education, and clinical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check required post-hire and before the associated start date.

• Compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and client-oriented.

• Comfortable working independently in the field.

• Strong communication skills during emotionally sensitive situations.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
