This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver hands-on technical leadership for Clario’s mobile development roadmap.
• Guide engineers, establish technical direction, and eliminate delivery obstacles.
• Design, construct, maintain, and continually enhance CI/CD pipelines for Android or iOS applications encompassing build, automated testing, signing, and release stages.
• Manage and automate the mobile release process, including versioning, certificates, provisioning profiles, keystores, secrets, and deployment through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Resolve intricate issues related to mobile builds, signing, pipelines, and store deployments.
• Enhance reliability, security, monitoring, build performance, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with Mobile Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams to develop scalable delivery practices.
• Provide mobile engineering insights to broader initiatives as the platform evolves.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in mobile software development, Mobile DevOps, build engineering, release engineering, or related fields.
• Practical experience in deploying Android or iOS applications to production via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
• Familiarity with the mobile release lifecycle.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD, build, or release automation utilizing tools such as Fastlane, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Codemagic, CircleCI, or similar.
• Knowledge of mobile signing and release requirements, including certificates, provisioning profiles, keystores, secrets management, and store submission processes.
• Strong software development or scripting capabilities in Swift, Kotlin, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, mentor engineers, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive delivery while being actively involved.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills across engineering, QA, security, and product teams.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, cloud-native platforms, C#/.NET MAUI, LaunchDarkly, or AI-assisted developer tools is a plus.
