Mobile Developer, React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop a new iOS and Android application for a high-end international luxury retail brand.

• Take charge of the React Native architecture, project methodologies, and coding standards from the ground up.

• Collaborate with frontend web developers to establish the mobile content model.

• Evaluate and advocate for CMS, DAM, and personalization tool integrations.

• Integrate CMS, DAM, personalization, and decision-making tools for dynamic, segmented, real-time content delivery.

• Execute campaigns and personalized deep-linking flows across both iOS and Android platforms.

• Design and implement push notifications, including deep links and campaign landing experiences.

• Develop and sustain features in collaboration with backend engineers.

• Work alongside UI/UX designers to evaluate feasibility and ensure high-quality user experiences.

• Enhance caching, content retrieval, and rendering performance for hundreds of thousands of daily users.

• Implement analytics and event tracking to support personalization, A/B testing, and experimentation.

• Write idiomatic, well-tested React Native code.

• Oversee iOS and Android release processes and store submissions.

• Engage in hands-on development without team management responsibilities, working with backend engineers, frontend web developers, UI/UX designers, and a PM.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in developing production iOS and Android applications using React Native from the ground up.

• Proficient with both iOS and Android platforms, including distribution processes, store submissions, and platform-specific behaviors.

• Practical experience in integrating CMS and DAM tools to deliver dynamic, segmented mobile content.

• Background in incorporating personalization and experimentation platforms into live mobile applications.

• Proven production experience in implementing deep linking for campaign and personalized navigation flows.

• Experience with push notification implementation, including deep links and campaign flows.

• Familiarity with REST API integration in mobile applications at a production scale.

• Expertise in performance optimization, including caching, content-fetching, and rendering tactics.

• Experience with analytics and event tracking that supports personalization and product experimentation.

• Standard practice of appropriate unit and component test coverage.

• Proficient in English (C1+) for both written and spoken communication; direct interaction with an international client team is essential.

• Knowledge of Polish is a plus.

• Nice to have: experience with streaming APIs or AI-assisted feature integration.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Firebase or Amplitude.

• Nice to have: experience with consent management and third-party privacy tools, including GDPR compliance.

• Nice to have: knowledge of Google Maps, Mapbox, or similar mapping SDKs.

• Nice to have: experience with end-to-end or integration testing.

• Nice to have: skills in Node.js, React, and Next.js.

• Nice to have: experience with A/B testing, feature flagging, and mobile attribution.

• Nice to have: familiarity with headless CMS architectures in retail or e-commerce.

• Nice to have: understanding of UI/UX design principles and feasibility assessment.

• A Polish B2B entity or willingness to establish one prior to project commencement.
