Mobile Application Developer – Support Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Offer assistance, operational support, and maintenance tasks related to the client's SAP systems and associated applications.

• Aid in custom development and the customization of SAP modules, encompassing break/fix and updates.

• Design, develop, and execute customizations in alignment with client and SAP development standards.

• Provide leadership in the creation of new SAP solutions.

• Create and develop mobile applications utilizing SAP MDK on SAP BTP.

• Construct MDK pages, actions, and rules utilizing JavaScript, OData services, and UX logic.

• Modify and enhance MDK applications through JavaScript rule-based logic.

• Implement offline-first functionality along with synchronization rules.

• Design, construct, and deploy Fiori applications and their extensions.

• Develop backend extensions using SAP CAP with Node.js or Java.

• Create and manage HDI containers and database artifacts on SAP HANA Cloud.

• Publish and oversee applications through SAP Mobile Services.

• Configure destinations, roles, as well as OAuth and SAML authentication, and security policies.

• Implement native device integrations such as camera and photo capture, GPS/location services, barcode/QR scanning, and file uploads and annotations.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance MDK applications.

• Conduct unit testing and collaborate on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

• Ensure adherence to corporate security, usability, and accessibility standards.

• Generate technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.

• Collaborate closely with the development team, Functional Consultants, and other technology areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-secondary education in computer technology or a related discipline.

• SAP certification in BTP, MDK, or Mobile Services.

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience with SAP MDK, SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), and SAP BTP Mobile Services.

• Skilled in creating MDK pages, rules, and actions.

• Experience with integrating OData services from SAP S/4HANA.

• Proficient in managing offline synchronization.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript.

• Expertise in SAP Fiori design.

• Proficient in mobile application deployment for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Experience in designing, building, and deploying Fiori applications and extensions.
