Mobile App Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance two mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Create a customer-oriented application that offers real-time visibility and control over myenergi devices.

• Design and implement an installer-focused application for the setup, configuration, and diagnostics of Bluetooth-enabled devices.

• Review, design, and establish the mobile application architecture.

• Collaborate with product owners, designers, firmware engineers, and QA teams to deliver features from initial concept to final release.

• Integrate Bluetooth Low Energy APIs for effective device configuration.

• Work together on API integration for real-time energy data, management of settings, and device control.

• Write robust, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and inconsistencies in UI/UX.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for the mobile team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience using React Native in production applications.

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience in building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android.

• Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integrations in React Native, or a willingness to learn.

• Proven experience in integrating RESTful APIs and managing asynchronous data flows.

• Proficient in version control using Git.

• Familiar with standard CI/CD processes, such as CircleCI.

• Experience in delivering clean user interfaces and adhering to user experience best practices.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Experience with native modules such as Swift or Kotlin is a plus.

• Familiarity with BLE libraries is advantageous.

• Experience with testing tools such as Jest is a plus.

• Previous experience in IoT, smart home, or hardware-connected applications is beneficial.

• Understanding of energy systems or EV charging technology is a bonus.
