Mission Finding Specialist, Portuguese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance Meta advertising campaigns by leveraging downstream metrics, scaling successful ads while discontinuing those that are ineffective.

• Collaborate with missions to design and launch high-intent advertisements, guiding creative choices through performance analytics.

• Diagnose and resolve both backend and frontend referral contacting issues to boost contact success rates.

• Integrate and verify lead flows into the Preach My Gospel App, previously known as the Area Book App.

• Assist referral secretaries and social media leaders in enhancing the execution and consistency of referral responses across various missions.

• Work together with team members to deliver timely, high-quality support across multiple missions.

• Facilitate weekly planning sessions and present key insights, priorities, and shifts in performance.

• Increase the effectiveness of localized advertising and referral contacting efforts across several proselyting missions.

• Generate meaningful teaching opportunities by enhancing reach, maximizing digital-tool effectiveness, and increasing contact speed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking both Portuguese and English.

• Strong analytical capabilities; able to distill complex information into concise takeaways.

• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented when working in fast-paced settings.

• Competent in managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including with senior leadership.

• Familiarity with Messenger, WhatsApp, Zoom, and other online communication platforms.

• Proven ability in training and instruction.

• Effective in planning and accomplishing goals as specified in Preach My Gospel chapter 8.

• Successfully completed full-time missionary service.

• Holds and maintains a current temple recommend.

• Able to consistently work 20 hours per week.

• When taking personal time off, must not exceed 10 consecutive business days away from work.

• Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.

• Employment is restricted to members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend.

• Preferred: Native Portuguese speaker.

• Preferred: Experience in publishing and optimizing ads using Meta Ads Manager.

• Preferred: Background as a social media leader, referral secretary, or in a similar missionary social media role.

• Preferred: Knowledge of direct-response marketing best practices.

• Preferred: Strong academic performance or progress towards a bachelor’s degree.

• Preferred: A creative portfolio (video, photo, design, etc.).
