Middle School Math Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct individualized online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8 throughout North America, adhering to the CCSS framework.

• Instruct in English utilizing interactive and student-focused strategies to enhance engagement, deepen understanding of fundamental concepts, and address inquiries in real-time.

• Develop lesson material tailored to the unique needs of each student, ensuring well-organized and high-quality instruction.

• Offer timely feedback and specific guidance to foster student comprehension and encourage ongoing improvement.

• Assist in project testing and contribute to the continual development of curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; degrees in Math, Education, or related disciplines are preferred.

• Teaching experience or possession of a valid teaching certificate is strongly favored.

• Must be available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (in US time zones).

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
