Middle Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Analyze extensive and intricate datasets utilizing statistical and quantitative techniques.

• Employ regression analysis, hypothesis testing, probability analysis, simulations, and time-series analysis to uncover patterns and elucidate trends.

• Validate analytical outcomes, identify anomalies and outliers, and differentiate significant issues from regular variability.

• Convert analytical insights into actionable recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Facilitate business decisions with clear, evidence-supported insights.

• Design and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that simplify complex information for better comprehension.

• Modify reporting formats and detail levels for various audiences, ranging from executive summaries to comprehensive analytical reports.

• Oversee dashboards and reports to guarantee their accuracy as data sources, business rules, and system configurations evolve.

• Communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Investigate relevant datasets, industry benchmarks, and external contexts to assist customer inquiries and internal decision-making.

• Evaluate data quality and explore inconsistencies or unexpected outcomes.

• Leverage AI tools to expedite research, summarize findings, prepare documentation, and enhance analytical and quality-assurance processes.

• Keep up-to-date with pertinent analytical tools, data sources, methodologies, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of statistics and quantitative analysis.

• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience in handling large datasets.

• Significant expertise with at least one data visualization platform, such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Proficient in Python, R, or another statistical programming language.

• Experience in creating dashboards, reports, and analytical presentations tailored for various stakeholder groups.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to articulate complex findings in clear, practical terms.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Understanding of machine learning concepts and their practical applications.

• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.

• Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.

• Proficient in using AI tools to enhance research, analysis, documentation, or quality-assurance workflows.

• Statistical analysis skills in regression, hypothesis testing, probability distributions, simulations, and time-series analysis.

• Programming and querying experience with Python, R, and SQL.

• Familiarity with Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.

• Data visualization skills using Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib, ggplot2, or similar tools.

• Proficient in data tools including advanced Excel, Jupyter Notebook, and Git.

• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
