Middle AI Platform Engineer, Python, Go, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code.

• Provide support for platform architecture that encompasses private networking, containers, edge and CDN services, managed storage, IAM, and security boundaries.

• Create and uphold CI/CD pipelines that include federated identity, access controls, and the distinction between read and write operations.

• Implement observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards for the platform.

• Establish processes for secrets management and rotation.

• Develop capabilities for disaster recovery, resilience, and business continuity.

• Construct and maintain serverless functions and automate infrastructure using Python.

• Set up security guardrails and operational standards for a multi-tenant development platform.

• Collaborate with AI engineering teams to integrate agent capabilities and automated deployment workflows.

• Provide support for ephemeral cloud environments utilized in AI-powered application development.

• Enhance production readiness through documented, reviewable, and reversible infrastructure modifications.

• Troubleshoot intricate platform issues and perform root-cause analysis.

• Assume complete ownership of platform stability, reliability, and operational performance.

• Identify opportunities to minimize deployment friction and enhance the developer experience.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of platform architecture, tools, security, and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and operating cloud-native infrastructure within a public cloud setting.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code in production scenarios.

• Familiarity with Go or Go-based infrastructure tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud networking, private networks, firewalls, containers, edge and CDN services, managed storage, and IAM.

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions.

• Knowledge of federated identity, authorization policies, least-privilege access, and secrets management.

• Experience in implementing observability, monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation, serverless functions, or supporting services.

• Experience in supporting multi-environment architectures and production-grade platforms.

• Understanding of platform security, resilience, scalability, and operational reliability.

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.

• Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Capability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, make sound technical decisions, and take ownership of results.

• English level: Upper-Intermediate.
