This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.
• Engage creatively with prospective clients, either sourced independently or pre-qualified by the Business Development or Partnerships team, to comprehend the Merchant's objectives and assess a reciprocal fit.
• Collaborate with the Sales Engineer to develop a comprehensive solution for potential clients.
• Partner with pricing and analytics teams to guarantee competitive pricing while sustaining favorable margins.
• Recognize the intricacies of the customer’s business and advise on partnerships and integrations that could facilitate collaboration with ShipBob, as well as enhance operational efficiencies.
• Adhere to the Mid-Market Sales Process, keeping abreast of any updates implemented by the company.
• Efficiently guide customers through the sales process, ensuring all expectations are clearly set and understood.
• Negotiate the terms of contracts and general partnership agreements.
• Possess a thorough understanding of our technology solutions and operational capabilities.
• Maintain an organized, up-to-date, and detailed pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and current CRM notes for clear account status.
• Provide management with feedback to enhance the sales process and improve the Merchant experience.
• Ensure a smooth transition to the post-sales team.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• Over 7 years of experience as an Account Executive with a proven history of acquiring net-new logos.
• Proven track record of closing complex deals with average deal sizes ranging from $500K to over $1M in ARR.
• Experience navigating sales cycles lasting 6 to 12 months with multi-stakeholder buying committees, including C-suite economic buyers.
• A well-defined, repeatable sales methodology (such as MEDDIC, Sandler, Challenger, or equivalent) — able to articulate your process, not just your outcomes.
• A background in logistics, 3PL, supply chain, e-commerce, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Capability to build and present a compelling strategic business case.
• Demonstrated excellence in CRM management and forecasting discipline.
