Mid-Level .NET Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create backend applications utilizing C# and .NET versions 6/7/8+

• Design and enhance REST APIs along with microservices

• Develop and integrate solutions based on Event-Driven Architecture principles

• Implement and integrate asynchronous communication mechanisms and messaging systems, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Pub/Sub

• Function within environments that prioritize high availability, scalability, and performance

• Utilize architectural patterns and adhere to software engineering best practices, including SOLID, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Apply resilience strategies like retries, circuit breakers, and idempotency

• Engage with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration, particularly GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes/GKE

• Monitor applications through the use of metrics, logs, and traces

• Take part in code reviews and technical discussions

• Work in close collaboration with Product, QA, DevOps, and other technology teams

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work alongside other team members

• Assist in the technical and architectural advancement of solutions

• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application efficiency

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET versions 8 or 10

• Proficiency in developing REST APIs using ASP.NET Core

• Demonstrated experience with microservices and distributed systems

• Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture

• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus

• Understanding of messaging patterns and asynchronous processing techniques

• Proficient in using Docker

• Knowledgeable in Kubernetes

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure and/or GCP

• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies

• Familiarity with Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and DDD

• Experience with automated testing processes

• Understanding of observability concepts, including logging, metrics, and tracing

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases

• Proficient in technical English for reading and comprehending documentation
