Mid-Level Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create software components, modules, and packages, which includes writing, testing, and maintaining programs.

• Implement project features for Spassu contracts that are currently being delivered to clients.

• Achieve the quality, cost, and timeline objectives set by the client.

• Produce software components that are free from defects.

• Analyze technical specifications and organize work using the specified project management tool.

• Develop components in accordance with the technical specifications, tools, languages, and libraries outlined for the project.

• Identify, construct, and test developed components to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Execute enhancements and corrective maintenance on software components.

• Integrate components with others created by the team.

• Establish and configure the local development environment.

• Provide solutions and conduct integration testing in the client’s environment.

• Carry out related tasks as assigned by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline accompanied by a postgraduate qualification (specialization, master’s, or doctoral degree) in Information Technology.

• 4 years of experience in software development.

• Proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with relational databases, especially Oracle.

• Experience in developing unit tests.

• Knowledge of SOLID principles.

• Experience in development utilizing established practices and SonarQube.

• Ability to write clean and readable code.

• Skills in code optimization.

• Proficient in the primary languages employed in the technology stack.

• Knowledge of relational databases.

• Experience with CI/CD.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Gitflow).

• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD).

• Experience with Agile workflow management tools (Jira).

• Strong practices in code review and automated testing.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Experience in RESTful API modeling and design.

• Knowledge of API Gateway solutions.

• Understanding of modern authentication and authorization flows, such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID.

• Familiarity with software resilience patterns, such as Circuit Breaker.

• Experience with asynchronous processing.

• Knowledge of webhook implementation.

• Skills in concurrency handling.

• Assurance of idempotency.

• Experience with messaging systems for high-volume processing, such as Apache Kafka or AMQ.

• Knowledge of financial security and encryption protocols, such as mTLS and digital signatures.
