Mid-Level Developer – OutSystems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute tasks throughout the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to supporting final deployment, following agile methodologies.

• Collaborate with the software architect to define and evolve the project architecture model.

• Mentor and assist the development team.

• Develop and integrate software components in line with technical specifications, utilizing specified tools, languages, and libraries.

• Identify, construct, and test developed components to ensure quality assurance.

• Implement enhancements and corrective maintenance on software components.

• Create technical documentation in compliance with contractual obligations.

• Merge produced components with those developed by other team members.

• Establish and configure the local development environment.

• Offer support to the IT team and client users regarding developed components, modules, and packages.

• Conduct deliveries and integration testing within the client’s environment.

• Assist in software acceptance testing and deployment within the client’s environments.

• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to the client.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on software development or software engineering; alternatively, a postgraduate qualification with a minimum of 360 classroom hours in a software development or software engineering discipline.

• Certification is not mandatory.

• Preferred experience includes 3 years of professional involvement in activities related to the necessary technical skills.

• Familiarity with agile software development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban; as well as functional, non-functional, and agile requirements analysis; and relational data modeling.

• Application of agile software development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, and Kanban.

• Analysis of functional and non-functional requirements.

• Implementation of design patterns, including enterprise integration patterns, design patterns, and microservices patterns, along with relational data modeling.

• Development of systems on the OutSystems platform, in any version.

• Implementation of system integrations using a service layer.

• Application of User Experience (UX) and usability concepts in application development.

• Proficiency in SQL.
