This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee and implement the security authorization process for systems and applications in alignment with NIST guidelines and DoD regulations.
• Navigate the RMF lifecycle and create necessary security documentation.
• Perform risk assessments to ensure that systems adhere to security and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with COTR and Sponsor Staff management to evaluate technical and operational effectiveness.
• Suggest ongoing enhancements to cyber defense processes and architectures.
• Assist in analysis, incident response, reporting products, and the overall reporting lifecycle.
• Guarantee the efficient operation of Agency IT systems and network defenses.
• Provide capabilities for incident response and situational-awareness reports.
• Optimize current tools to correlate information and distill data into actionable insights.
• Automate manual and inefficient cyber defense operations.
• Advise and implement technical solutions in collaboration with the Sponsor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in security risk assessment and management within cloud environments (GCP preferred).
• Experience in constructing authorization packages.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• An active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance is required.
• Must confirm identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
