Mid-Level Angular Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create the user interface for a government application aimed at customers.

• Develop and code applications and modules utilizing Angular JS/TS.

• Implement patches and upgrades for current systems.

• Engage in system planning and the deployment of development projects.

• Adhere to software compliance standards.

• Design graphical user interfaces that fulfill user requirements, including compliance with US 508 standards.

• Draft operating instructions and compile documentation for program development.

• Evaluate system functionalities to address inquiries regarding program intent, output specifications, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

• Create add-on modules using various application programming languages.

• Design and code applications in line with specifications.

• Maintain and update existing software applications.

• Assess system factors such as input/output requirements, information flow, hardware and software needs, and alternative resolution strategies.

• Adjust and uphold operational programs and procedures.

• Take part in code reviews to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

• Draft or modify program documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of experience.

• Minimum of 5 years in software development.

• At least 2 years of experience in Angular development.

• Capability to obtain and maintain USPTO Public Trust clearance.

• Proficiency in Angular 17+.

• Knowledge of JavaScript.

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Familiarity with CSS and Layouts.

• Understanding of HTML 5 and DOM API.

• Experience with Gitlab.

• Proficient in Azure.

• Familiar with AWS.

• Experience working in Agile environments.
