Mid-Level Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Document and assess accounting entries, ensuring their accurate classification and adequate supporting documentation.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and perform account analyses, pinpointing and addressing discrepancies.

• Engage in monthly and year-end accounting closing procedures.

• Generate accounting and financial reports.

• Organize supporting documentation and follow up on pending information requests with clients.

• Collaborate in preparing data for the tax team.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance accounting processes and controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in accounting positions, with the independence to conduct reconciliations, account analyses, and closing activities.

• Expertise in Excel or Google Sheets along with accounting management systems.

• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills, analytical capabilities, and a solid commitment to maintaining information confidentiality.

• Preferred: Experience in an accounting firm or managing a client portfolio.

• Preferred: Experience working with U.S.-based companies.

• Preferred: Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or other commonly used accounting tools in the U.S. market.

• Preferred: Understanding of bookkeeping processes and documentation required for tax preparation and filing.
