Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager – MECM/SCCM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, configure, test, validate, and deploy application packages utilizing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) across laboratory, testing, and production environments.

• Provide support for application delivery in virtualized and multi-session environments.

• Ensure that applications are packaged and deployed in a secure, reliable manner, adhering to established enterprise standards.

• Maintain consistent application delivery throughout the VA enterprise.

• Directly support mission-critical systems utilized by VA employees and healthcare providers across the nation.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident is required, with the capability to obtain a Public Trust.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or at least 6 years of relevant work experience.

• 4–7+ years of system administration experience with a strong proficiency in SCCM/MECM.

• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Solid understanding of MSI/MST packaging concepts along with the capability to conduct package reviews.

• Knowledge of PowerShell for automation, troubleshooting, and scripting.

• Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot SCCM deployment logs effectively.

• Familiarity with VMware vSphere, multi-session environments, and Windows OS internals.

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft MECM, MD-102/MD-104, VMware VCP, Azure Fundamentals, or Security+ are preferred.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Azure services.

• Experience collaborating with federal government clients, particularly the VA.

• Proven experience working with testers and packagers.

• Strong understanding of Active Directory.

• Experience in a remote work setting is beneficial.

• Ability to obtain government Public Trust Clearance.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
