Microservices Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Offer architectural direction and technical leadership for the design of scalable, resilient, and secure microservices-based applications.

• Establish and uphold architectural standards, design principles, and best practices among development teams.

• Develop solution architectures that align with business goals, performance requirements, and operational excellence objectives.

• Design database architectures suitable for distributed microservices environments.

• Advise on and implement strategies for data ownership, partitioning, replication, and synchronization across multiple services.

• Provide expert advice on data consistency models, event-driven architectures, CQRS, and patterns for database scalability.

• Evaluate existing microservices architectures to identify design, performance, scalability, and operational limitations.

• Carry out architecture reviews and technical evaluations.

• Create and apply long-term architectural solutions for recurring operational and performance challenges.

• Suggest modernization strategies and architectural enhancements to improve system reliability and maintainability.

• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to advance architectural initiatives.

• Qualified, independent Microservices Solution Architect Consultant or specialized service provider.

• Proficient in daily use of Microservices Architecture.

• Proficient in daily use of Solution Architecture.

• Proficient in daily use of Node.js.

• Proficient in daily use of Elasticsearch.

• Proficient in daily use of Distributed Systems.

• Proficient in daily use of Database Design & Replication.

• Proficient in daily use of Event-Driven Architecture.

• Proficient in daily use of REST APIs & API Management.

• Proficient in daily use of Performance Optimization.

• Proficient in daily use of Scalability & Reliability Engineering.

• Proficient in daily use of Cloud Architecture (Azure/AWS/GCP).

• Proficient in daily use of Technical Leadership & Mentoring.
