Merchandiser, DSD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Manage merchandise within retail environments

• Maintain, set up, and execute planograms

• Stock, front, face, and rotate products as needed

• Provide coverage for sales representatives during their vacations

• Document store orders, credit damages, and address other issues

• Deliver merchandise services to retailers

• Support sales representatives in fostering strong relationships with retailers

• Assist in maintaining communication between the internal sales team and retailers

• Showcase merchandise effectively with appropriate signage and optimal shelf placement

• Arrive safely and punctually at work locations equipped with all necessary materials

• Ensure adequate stock levels at retailer locations

• Travel to various locations and occasionally work overnight shifts

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• At least 3 months of relevant experience and/or training

• Proficient mathematical skills for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

• Strong reasoning ability to apply common sense in executing instructions

• Capable of operating a computer tablet

• Valid driver's license with a proven safety record in vehicle operation

• Proficient in using computer systems for emails, faxes, scanners, phones, etc.

• Must be physically fit with high stamina and dexterity

• Ability to drive long distances in a vehicle

• Able to lift over 50 pounds

• Good manual dexterity with both hands

• Capability to stand or sit for extended periods

• Able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead with ease

• Excellent eyesight with good peripheral vision

• Willingness to work long hours and overtime as required

• Knowledgeable about safety work regulations and committed to working safely at all times

• Must reside in the Columbus, OH area

• Willingness to travel between various locations
