Merchandise Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Monitor and oversee customer orders from the initial request to final delivery.

• Ensure the accuracy of SKUs, quantities, specifications, artwork, and setup fees within internal systems.

• Proactively manage potential delays in order fulfillment.

• Source products in accordance with client specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.

• Evaluate vendor pricing and confirm stock availability.

• Identify suitable alternatives for items that are backordered or exceed budget.

• Communicate directly with suppliers and decorators.

• Request RFQs and clarify production needs.

• Coordinate revisions of artwork.

• Address and resolve discrepancies in invoices and pricing.

• Oversee production workflows, including proof approvals and imprint methods such as screen printing, embroidery, and laser engraving.

• Monitor shipping dates to ensure deadlines are met.

• Issue purchase orders and create necessary order documentation.

• Assist with basic accounting reconciliation tasks.

• Organize digital files within ERP systems, including Sage and PrintPLANR.

⛳️ Requirements

• Direct experience with promotional product distributors, commercial printers, screen printers, embroidery shops, or print brokers.

• Practical experience with industry ERPs and sourcing databases.

• Proficiency in Sage or PrintPLANR is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with similar systems such as ASI, ESP, or PromoStandards is a significant advantage.

• Strong understanding of setup charges, proof approvals, lead times, decoration methods, vector artwork requirements, and freight/shipping logistics.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated professional capable of independently following up on outstanding vendor items and advancing projects without the need for micromanagement.

• Experience with promotional products, branded merchandise, and the lifecycle of commercial printing orders.
