MEP Cost Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive support and MEP Quantity Surveying to the cost management team.

• Execute both pre-contract and post-contract assignments for clients.

• Typically manage three to four projects simultaneously across various sectors.

• Assist with all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying responsibilities.

• Conduct tender analysis and bidding, oversee tender document management, material take-offs and pricing, measurement of works, and valuation of variations.

• Prepare cost estimates, claims for extensions of time, payment and variation certifications, and final account reconciliations.

• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and specialized suppliers.

• Provide support for administrative tasks.

• Participate in site inspections, visits, site meetings, and tender interviews as needed.

• Develop foundational skills and experience in Quantity Surveying.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in quantity surveying or commercial management.

• Strong expertise in E&M, construction, interior fit-out, or capital projects.

• Demonstrated success in project experience and QS skill set, preferably with an E&M QS focus.

• Solid understanding of commercial best practices within the HK fitting-out industry.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation abilities.

• Capability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders in a corporate setting.

• Must be based in Hong Kong.

• Available to commence in Q4 2026.

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Cost and Procurement Management, or a related discipline.
