This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with member practices as the primary contact for inquiries, support, and customized solutions.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new shareholders and work alongside internal teams to ensure a smooth experience for members.
• Generate and nurture leads throughout Central Ontario via phone, email, virtual meetings, and regular field visits.
• Recognize sales opportunities by analyzing member needs, sales data, and market trends.
• Coordinate follow-ups with the Member Services team.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing member engagement and driving sales growth.
• Keep precise records of leads, sales activities, and member information within the CRM system.
• Provide support to Central Ontario practices regarding PIMS setup, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
• Maintain product cross-reference data and offer remote technical assistance to practices.
• Aid in the planning and execution of events, handling logistics, accommodations, setup, and on-site coordination.
• Foster relationships and manage communications with key industry associations.
• Engage in health and safety training, meetings, and drills.
• Report any health and safety violations or hazards to the appropriate contacts.
• Integrate the VP’s core values into daily tasks, decision-making, and interactions.
• Advocate for VP’s mission of providing exceptional service to member practices.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience within the veterinary sector.
• Knowledge of veterinary concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Significant experience and judgment in planning and achieving objectives.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficient organization and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours and travel occasionally.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional networks and relationships.
• Familiarity with Practice Information Management Software (PIMS) is advantageous.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Adherence to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and VP policies and procedures.
• Compliance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
