Member Care Specialist – Japanese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new members of the Progyny Global benefit.

• Assist members in maximizing their use of the service tailored to their individual needs.

• Provide continuous concierge-level support throughout the fertility and family-forming journeys.

• Conduct one-on-one video consultations to educate members on topics such as fertility, adoption, and surrogacy.

• Aid members in finding fertility clinics or service providers and help schedule appointments.

• Respond to member inquiries by researching and offering customized solutions.

• Investigate country-specific legislation and medical environments concerning fertility and family-forming options.

• Maintain and update knowledge databases with the latest healthcare practices and legal frameworks.

• Assist in the translation and localization of benefits.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written forms.

• A compassionate demeanor, high emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for assisting others.

• Quick adaptation to new topics and a willingness to deepen knowledge in areas such as fertility, adoption, surrogacy, menopause, and pregnancy care.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in working independently and collaboratively with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

• Dedication to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• A background in healthcare, particularly in fertility nursing or midwifery, is highly desirable.

• Previous customer care experience is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• Fluency in English and Japanese is essential.

• Proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
