This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while assisting members with treatment-related concerns.
• Supervise daily admission operations.
• Handle member admissions and oversee virtual workflows, including check-in/out, payment processing, prescriptions, and drug screening.
• Conduct an average of 15 intakes daily.
• Accurately and promptly enter and maintain member information in the EMR system.
• Coordinate member appointments with medical providers and address their needs, including modifying appointments.
• Send reminders for appointments and reschedule as necessary.
• Greet prospective members, acting as the initial point of contact.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of admission forms.
• Verify insurance eligibility and sign-up details; refer members for financial or insurance assistance as needed.
• Guide members regarding insurance plans and usage requirements, including network eligibility and copayment information.
• Address general office inquiries and connect members with the appropriate contacts when necessary.
• Assist members with the urine drug screening process during the intake procedure.
• Hold regular meetings with the supervisor to identify problems and enhance service delivery.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree (either completed or in progress) is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in an administrative position.
• Experience in a virtual setting and familiarity with relevant technology; background in healthcare, insurance eligibility, retail, or hospitality is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel/spreadsheets and Google Apps (including Gmail and Google Docs).
• Experience in managing and maintaining an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Access to reliable internet and telephone service, specifically a download speed of 40M and upload speed of 10M or higher, along with a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location.
• Must fulfill pre-employment requirements and comply with all relevant state and job-related background screening guidelines; this may include fingerprinting, drug testing, and health screening, depending on state-specific regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
• Proficient in quick and independent problem-solving.
• Ability to function both collaboratively as a team member and independently as a contributor.
