Medical Virtual Assistant, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and organize medical record documentation and charts for healthcare providers.

• Ensure adherence to medical record compliance through self-documentation verification.

• Update patient history, physical examinations, and other relevant health data.

• Compile and dispatch documentation to physicians for their review and approval, following detailed data entry and facility-specific protocols.

• Oversee the timeframe for basic lab results and screening procedures.

• Adhere to hospital and medical facility policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.

• Execute clerical duties and tasks to enhance provider efficiency and clinic workflow.

• Evaluate, review, and implement relevant criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse or hold a BSN degree.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant or in a BPO managing a healthcare account.

• Personal laptop or desktop is required for remote work.

• Should possess at least an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor.

• Must have a minimum of 8GB RAM.

• Ability to work during evening hours.

• Willingness to adhere to a night shift schedule.

• Understanding necessary to evaluate, review, and implement criteria.

• Compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations is essential.

• Proficient in medical record documentation and data entry.
