This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Act as the supervising physician for psychiatric advanced practice providers (APPs), including psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs), while offering clinical oversight for licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) delivering psychotherapy.

• Create and uphold clinical standards for adult behavioral health populations within both psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care settings.

• Provide clinical escalation assistance for intricate psychiatric cases, incorporating risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis intervention.

• Perform regular chart reviews, audits, and co-signatures, delivering timely and actionable feedback.

• Guarantee evidence-based screening, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and documentation practices.

• Develop and enhance psychiatric clinical protocols, pathways, and care models.

• Spearhead quality improvement initiatives aimed at boosting behavioral health outcomes, patient engagement, retention, provider performance, and documentation quality.

• Ensure adherence to state, federal, and telehealth regulations.

• Facilitate care team meetings, case reviews, and psychiatric clinical forums.

• Assist in the onboarding and continuous training for psychiatric APPs, LCSWs, and care teams.

• Collaborate with Luro Health on the design of behavioral health care models, optimization of clinical workflows, and considerations for psychiatric telehealth products.

• Provide clinical decision-making and oversight through the Luro Provider Group.


⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. required.

• Must possess active, unrestricted medical licenses in Vermont and Pennsylvania.

• Board certification in Psychiatry is mandatory.

• Preferred experience in supervising psychiatric APPs and/or LCSWs in telehealth or multi-state settings.

• Strong understanding of psychiatric clinical guidelines, quality metrics, documentation expectations, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare populations, as well as integrated behavioral health care models, is highly preferred.

• Proven leadership in clinical program development, provider oversight, and quality enhancement.

• Exceptional communication skills with care teams, cross-functional partners, and patients.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, remote-first organization.

• Availability for approximately 10–20 hours per week.
