Medical Science Liaison/Senior Medical Science Liaison, Solid Tumor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture scientific relationships with oncologists, pathologists, researchers, and healthcare stakeholders throughout Malaysia.

• Engage in peer-to-peer scientific discussions concerning disease areas, clinical data, treatment landscapes, and the company's products and pipeline.

• Collect, summarize, and convey medical insights to guide medical strategies, planning, and evidence requirements.

• Assist with early access programs, diagnostic pathway projects, and patient-centered medical initiatives.

• Keep abreast of clinical guidelines, competitor information, treatment pathways, and emerging oncology evidence.

• Aid in medical education efforts, scientific symposia, and advisory board meetings.

• Provide internal scientific training on disease knowledge, product information, data, and compliant communication.

• Assist in the medical review and localization of scientific materials.

• Address unsolicited medical information inquiries with precise, balanced, and non-promotional information.

• Recognize opportunities for local evidence generation, investigator-initiated studies, real-world evidence, registries, and collaborative research.

• Support clinical trial feasibility assessments and site identification.

• Facilitate connections between investigators and internal stakeholders.

• Collect clinical insights and identify unmet medical needs to inform medical strategy development.

• Participate in publication planning and scientific dissemination activities.

• Collaborate with Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Operations teams.

• Contribute to the annual planning and execution of medical initiatives.

• Ensure that all activities adhere to company policies, local regulations, and relevant industry codes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD), Pharmacy Degree (BPharm/MPharm/PharmD), PhD, or other relevant qualifications in life sciences.

• At least 2 years of experience for MSL or 4 years for Senior MSL in Medical Affairs, clinical practice, or related positions.

• Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is highly preferred.

• Advanced clinical, scientific, or research training in solid tumors, oncology, or related therapeutic areas is preferred.

• Familiarity with the Malaysian healthcare system is preferred.

• Experience in supporting clinical research, real-world evidence (RWE), or publication activities is preferred.

• Proven ability to establish credible, professional relationships with healthcare professionals is preferred.

• Strong expertise in the therapeutic area of oncology.

• Excellent scientific communication skills.

• Ability to adhere to company policies, local regulations, and applicable industry codes.
