This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Engage with healthcare professionals to facilitate the exchange of clinical, scientific, and research knowledge.

• Establish scientific relationships and collaborations within the medical and scientific community.

• Interact with key thought leaders, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders in a precise, fair, and unbiased manner.

• Act as the primary field liaison for Sobi Medical Affairs.

• Report field intelligence, competitive insights, perspectives on compounds, disease-state information, and treatment landscape insights.

• Assist in clinical development and operations by providing site recommendations, facilitating site initiation visits, and supporting accrual efforts.

• Participate in or lead local, regional, and national advisory board meetings.

• Deliver internal and external training on preclinical science, clinical data, and outcomes.

• Represent Sobi at medical conferences and summarize sessions attended.

• Provide cross-functional scientific support.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of relevant studies, compounds, and diseases in the field of immunology.

• Manage the designated territory and contribute to the MSL organization.

• Travel across Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Southern California.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within a 30-minute radius of Los Angeles, CA.

• Possess an accredited doctorate in a life science or basic science field (Pharm.D., D.Sc., D.N.P., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O.), or hold an advanced health degree with significant industry or clinical experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).

• Ability to interpret and communicate scientific information effectively, address stakeholder needs, and respond to inquiries.

• Capable of building and sustaining positive relationships both internally and within the medical community.

• Proven success in managing stakeholders and leading or influencing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

• Strong project management capabilities and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects concurrently.

• Exhibit personal integrity, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.

• Possess strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Knowledge of immunology disease states is highly preferred.

• Relevant clinical practice experience is preferred.

• Willingness to travel frequently by ground and/or air; estimated at least 60% of the time away from the remote office.
