This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key opinion leaders, researchers, and scientific institutions within the field of rheumatology.

• Provide credible scientific presentations regarding disease areas and AbbVie's product pipeline.

• Assist in the identification and engagement of external experts for research collaborations, advisory boards, and scientific events.

• Facilitate the initiation and execution of AbbVie-sponsored clinical trials in collaboration with clinical operations teams.

• Collect and disseminate field-based medical intelligence, including trends in clinical practice, evidence gaps, and insights into the competitive landscape.

• Participate in pertinent scientific congresses and meetings.

• Support physicians with requests for named patient or compassionate use access when applicable.

• Conduct all activities in accordance with local laws, regulations, and AbbVie policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field is strongly preferred; candidates holding an undergraduate degree with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an MSL, Clinical Research Associate, or in a similar field-based role within the pharmaceutical or medical industry.

• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical research methodologies and the pharmaceutical regulatory landscape.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals.

• An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• High standards of scientific integrity and compliance.

• Proficiency in both English and German.
